A long and blessed day

I spent all of yesterday at the Univeristy in B PR walking with my one week team that I am leading. The girls I have are great and I can already tell that Father is up to something crazy in that area. There are so many people in our area and so much to do. While PR walking a lady on my team had the chance to talk to a student at the uni and made an apointment with her to get some coffee on thursday so be in PR for that. Today we start meeting people so PR for the conversations that we will be having over the next 4 days. I miss and love all of yall. and i don't have a color because we just post them on the main page and they are from everywhere in texas. but if you read the post cards the ones that talk about the uni are my teams. so anyways talk to yall later and im PRing for yall.

Today I had to go the airport and pick my team. I am so excited that they are here. Its like bring in a fresh breath of air because they have so much energy and are ready to work for our Father. Well today there wasn't very much energy because the are jet-lagged, but I can tell that they are ready to jump head first into this work. So all day today I just took them around K to keep them awake and help them learn the train system and learn just some basic stuff about the city. So I am very excited they are finally here. PR for them to have energy and for our Father to prepare their hearts. PR for me to have confidence in leading them and for our Father to be speaking through me throughout this next week. I love and I am PRing for yall daily.

Before I start my post I just wanted to say thanks to all of those who comment. It is encouraging to read those after a long day and I look forward to them everyday. Yesterday was a kind of thrown off day because we had some team members traveling to different places to do some different things...so yesterday was just different I guess. anywas we had H.C in a book store and it was very good. we read the book of ephsians and then discussed it. at first i was like we are reading the whole book, but it was good that we did because you get the complete setting and all. so then i went with J.U to meet a friend in a park to play some kind of game. well his friend could not make it, but he did walk all the way to the park to tell us he wasn't coming. but i think they will meet up another time because that guy really want to see J.U. so after that we weren't sure what to do so we PR walked and read a little bit at the park then we went and had dinner and went home. Just for those that are wondering we have teaching till noon then eat lunch then go out and do our m work. then we spent today preparing the hostel for the teams coming in on saturday. we had to set up our office and our meeting room and buy food and all that good stuff so today wasn't spent onsite but we def. got a lot done. Tomorrow is my free day to wash clothes and shop and do whatever but since i will be staying and leading a team in B. next week and i havn't been there J and going to take D.C and i to the OTA's in that city. so i guess i don't really get my free day tomorrow but i am excited to see my OTA that i will be working in and hopefully i will get to plow the ground there a little bit tomorrow. so be in a lot of PR for that plz. well i have to go for now but i love yall and thanks again for comments.
Gayle- i think that is awesome that you are doing that. something that they teach us here is PR is not a part of our ministry it is our ministry. something that i didn't relize till last year was how big of a m field our schools are. and even though kayla will be the young one there she can still be a light in that school for J.C. and don't be afraid to PR the big PRs because nothing is to big for our G. and i encourage you to take someone with you and PR out loud with them, maybe if you could talk Kayla into going with you when she can that would be such an awesome experiance for both of yall i think. anyways good luck with all of that.

The calm before the storm...

We get our first teams in on saturday so this week has been a lot of preparing for them. i found out this morning that i will be leading a team that is staying in another town. so me and a fellow JSI, who is only 19, will be travling to this new location and staying at a hostile there with our team by ourselves. our team consits of 15 girls and they will be broken into two groups and i will lead one to one area and D.C. will lead the other group in another area. the town that we will all be staying in is about 45 mins outside of K. so plz just begin to PR for the girls coming, saftey, and for D and I as we lead this girls in a very unfamiliar area. I am very excitied about this opp. i have been given. we will be leading them from sat till fri so be in PR for what Father is doing this whole next week. also there will be 3 teams working in the parks in K so be in PR for those teams and the JSI's that are leading those. ok so today i went back to the park i was in last year and just continued to plow that ground because that is where a team is going to be next week. so we went to that area and did some hardcore plowing. just asking for Father to send seeking people to that park with open hearts. because that was my park last year part of my heart is there and that ground is so hard so plz just PR for the team that will be there next week. Father is just really breaking my heart for K and for the nations. i cant wait to wake up everyday and find out what He has instore for me, what He wants to teach me. one challage i have for yall is to seek Him in the small everyday things. it would be cool if you would post back and tell me the strange places you find him! Mom- i didn't get your email so send it again and i cant post pictures because they are on my laptop and i use the internet cafe to do blogs. but thursday we move into the hostile and i will be able to use my laptop there so maybe then i will be able to post pics. and tell lance that H.C is house ch. ummmm guess thats all for now. love all of yall.

A Good Week!!!

I am only able to post on this blog on fridays for now, but to see my daily post check www.postcardsfromedgeu.blogspot.com. Anyways, this week has been very challenging and also a blessing. We have spent all our mornings in teaching and learning the seasons (plowing, sowing, reaping, and vintaging) that we will go through with the people here and then the afternoons have been spent at our OTA's(outreach target areas) I am in a park with a lot of people and basketball courts and playgrounds and just a lot of activity going on there. one PR request I have is that you PR for girls to come to the court because it is mostly guys that come and play. Two days ago, Wendsday, we went about an hour and half outside of K to a little farming community. There were mountains and mountains of grape vinyards, little did we know that we were going to hike one of those mountains. It was a 5 mile up hill hike and it was VERY hot and tiring. But we all made it and got some awesome pictures of the the villige from the top of the mount. Then today was very very refreshing because it was cool and rainy and we had an awesome HC in the park and just spent time PR walking around the park and plowing the ground. Earlier this week I was tired and just needing rest, but after today I feel much better. And tomorrow (friday) is our free day so I will enjoy that. In the morning LJ, TMcD, JK, and I are making a film by asking random people what they think ch is. So PR that that goes well. It is just something that G laid on my heart and I think it will help all of us understand the people better if we know their views. Also earlier this week we ate in this Italian place and our waitress was very nice and enjoyed talking to us and spoke very good english. then two days ago we went back and we hadnät said anything to her yet but as soon as she saw us she remembered us and was talking to us. TMcD and I are going to go back there and ask her if she would like to help us with our German because the other day when we were leaving she was very eager to tell us how to say stuff. So PR that she would want to do this with us and we can build a relationship with her and be able to tell her the Good News. well I have to go for now. I will post pictures of some things later. Sorry!!!

Sorry that I haven’t updated in awhile, the blogger was down. so just some random thoughts, we did get our luggage and I love being back in the city and seeing things that I recognize and I am so excited to be here. Thursday we had a lot of teaching in the morning. but in the afternoon we spent time at the Dom asking father to inspire us and show us his vision for us. we always talk about coming to these dark places and that is excatly what the Dom is, a dark place. not only the inside but the building itself just looks dirty and black. expect for this one spot that they replaced i believe so it is white and sticks out. and father has called us to be the light in those dark places and just as that white spot sticks out among all the black on the building our light should so bright that people see something different in us. and friday we had teaching over John 6 and then spent time in the park asking father to show us something through those words. and john 6 is very well known stories so i encourage all of yall to read that and see if you take something new away from it or are reminded of something that you have forgotten. something that stuck out to me was that before jc fed the 5000 they were doubting how he would do that, and not only did he feed them, there was some left over. and this applies so much to our lives because to many times we doubt what father can do but if we just take that leap of faith and trust him then not only will he provide and bless us, but he will give us more than we need, just as he did for the 5000. read it and you will see what im talking about. so that was just about the last two days. thanks for the yarping and keep it up. also don't forget to check out the postcards link because we will be posting there also. i will be updating more often now that blogger is back up. love all of yall.

We are here!!!

Just wanted to let all you guys know that we made it to Germany. we almost missed our connecting flight and we did not get our luggage but they said they will deliver it to us sometime today. we all have major jet-lag so plz pr for our energy. thanks for all the pr and plz keep it up! we have spent today just riding the train and trying to get use to the system again. i have to go for now. jordan

Final Post from the U.S

so its our last day at B.C, well we are here tomorrow but we will be leaving early in the morning to fly out. so this is our last offical day of B.C. I am so excitied about what Father is going to do this summer. He has brought together a group of amazing people, each of us very different in so many ways, but all here with the same heart and purpose. just some random things that been happing at B.C, was woke up at 5:30 for a water balloon fight, which was so much fun, and we have been studying and getting to know each other. so anyways not much time. gotta go. c'ya later.

Almost there...

I only have two days before I begin my journey. I have spent today saying goodbye. I said goodbye to my friend from South Africa who will be going home on the 11th and I may never see her again. I said goodbye to some family, I have said goodbye to some other friends. And if your reading this and I didn't get a chance to tell you goodbye then this is your goodbye and a thank you for PRing for me. I can't help but think of all the things I will miss while in Germany this summer. Things like my family, friends, days on the lake, Dr. Pepper, sleeping in, driving, and many more things. You see, when I come home I will soon be leaving again to go to college. This summer is my last chance to hang with all my classmates and act stupid b/c after this summer another part of my life begins without some of my friends. But when I arrive in Germany and see our Amazing G at work, will I miss all of this? No I don't think I will. Being part of an amazing work that is going on in Germany is worth leaving all this behind. I know that this summer I am supposed to be in Germany, there is not a doubt in my mind. And I know that G is going to use us to do some amazing things. And what a small price I have to pay to be a part of this awesome work that I am not even worthy to do. So I may miss my family and will prolly miss my friends, but I will find joy and strength in our Father when I remember what I am a part of. So as I am preparing this last few days that I have here please PR for peace at mind, safe travel, and PR for my team mates as I'm sure some of them are having these same thoughts. Thanks and I love yall.
